born in 1957, is a Canadian international master, who also holds the title of correspondence chess grandmaster. Hébert was Canadian champion both in 2009 and in 1978. He has played for Canada in 7 chess Olympiads and also participated in the interzonal tournament in Rio de Janeiro. Hébert has worked for several Canadian chess magazines and also has an excellent reputation as a live chess commentator. Back in 2001 Hébert was inducted into the "Canadian Chess Hall of Fame".
